In recent years Berlin has seen a loss of spaces supporting creative practices. The city has always been a magnet for artists, however the nature of the art is changing as low income artists find it harder to remain in the city centre, slowly changing the art scene as a whole.

This project is a scheme to accommodate low-cost studio spaces for artists which Berlin is currently in need of. An approach to one of the issues that the city faces as a result of gentrification. On top of being a place for artists to occupy, it is a connecting space between the people of the city and its artistic culture.

As part of the program, it incorporates the existing creative entities surrounding the sites such as schools, the UFO Sound Studios and Berlin Art Class and becomes a connection point between arts, education and a catalyst for the future wealth of the surrounding community.
